Wedding At The East Close Hotel, Mr & Mrs Turner

What a gorgeous sunny day for a wedding in the heart of the new forest, at the stunning East Close Hotel Hampshire. TodayIt’s the turn of Rob and Hannah to tie the knot!

I have known Hannah for some time, she is a former florist and that is how we originally met. You can imagine how chuffed I was when she asked me to photograph her special day.

The day started as normal, I was greeted with the sound of various bottles of fizz being opened and lots of laughter and girly giggles. I got under way with the bridal prep photos before the horse and carriage arrived to pickup the beautiful bride. At this point I left the ladies to do the finishing touches as I headed off to meet rob at the hotel/BAR ;).

He was a tad nervous but looking forward to marrying Hannah, who didn’t take long to arrive and the ceremony got under way.

After the ceremony we made use of the stunning country grounds for some lovely portraits of the happy couple, shortly followed by speeches and the first dance.

It was a truly lovely day seeing someone that I have know for sometime get married!

James and Sarahs Stunning Country Wedding

Sunday 5th October 2014 was one of the biggest challenges as a photographer.  Two of my best friends were tying the knot.  You will have seen James a lot on my site as he is a close friend and also runs ‘Jimmy Bean’ which I have photographed frequently as his business grows.  The pressure was higher than normal for me as I a best man as well as the photographer.  I was taking multitasking to a new level!

The day started early with a rather excited bride (Sarah, also a very close friend) was jumping on my bed as if it it was christmas day yelling “I’m getting married today!”  So, with a fresh coffee, the day began with bridal prep, hair and makeup and of course CHAMPAGNE.  I know how long it normally takes one girl to get ready, but when there are several together combined add the word ‘wedding’, it seems like a lifetime!

After Sarah had put her dress on with the finishing touches complete, might I say she looked beautiful, I departed to meet my good friend James.  I was greeted with yet more champagne and a very settled groom.  We added the finishing touches to our outfits together with some truly stunning button holes that James’ mother had created  (Diane you truly did a wonderful job so well done!)   I then shot the last few groom photos before we departed to the church for the main event.

A beautiful ceremony, and a very happy Mr and Mrs Freeman left the church.  We celebrated with a wonderful confetti throw and made our way to ‘The Clock Barn’.  From here we carried on the celebrations of a beautiful day and I’m so proud of not only being the photographer but also to be invited as a guest.

I’ll finish from here and let you see the rest of fun and celebrations in photos!

My beautiful realxed weddings start from as a little as £750 with lots of extras to add on.

Ollie And Kerry’s Beautiful Woodland Wedding

Another stunning wedding in the beautiful New Forest, and my first wedding at Rhinefield House Hotel.  This is a truly stunning wedding venue set in the heart of the New Forest.

Ollie and Kerry approached me after seeing some of my other wedding work on social media sites, so we got together and talked about their special day.  I was so happy they booked after discussing what they had planned, it was going to be extra special!

The big day came around quickly and a beautiful October day greeted us for the wedding.  I met Ollie in the bar, he promised me it was his first of the day :). Ollie looked awesome in a top hat, victorian style suit, cane and monocle.  We did the usual groom and best men shots, as well as a few others, before the ceremony commenced.

After another beautiful ceremony in the Great Hall, we celebrated outside with confetti, drinks and some orchestral music.  I took Ollie and Kerry off for a short period to get some lovely new “couple time”, and to capture some beautiful portraits together.  The grounds of Rhinefield House are just WOW,  making the perfect location for wedding photography.

The afternoon passed quickly and before we knew it the evening entertainment arrived which was incredible.  A strong man, who got the guests in the mood before the first dance and party.

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Dubois!

Corporate Shoot With JoJo

Joanna rides motorbikes for a living (lucky her!!)  She approached me and asked if I could photograph her and her beautiful Yamaha R6 (stunning).  We opted for a late night shoot on a Sunday evening in Dorset.   Jo arrived and we discussed the images she wanted to capture and then we began. She was a little nervous at first but after 5-10 minutes she relaxed and was like a natural.   We did a few still portraits and some shots of the bike on its own before the fun started. Assisted by my good friend Alan, we went out to photograph Jo while she was riding her bike.  The time flew by and it was over before we knew – they do say time flies when you’re having fun!

We captured some awesome photos of Jo and her bike (below is a selection from the shoot).  I honestly cannot wait until our next shoot and to see her new bike!

My professional corporate shoots start from as little as £150, and if you have your own business then this is ideal for you.

Rob & Fran Get Married

At the last minute I was called upon by a fellow photographer and friend Emma as she had been let down by her assistant.  There were only 48 hours until the special day so I brushed of my red cape and came to the rescue (haha).

I love second shooting and working with other professional photographers.  Both the church and reception location were new to me but upon arrival I knew it was going to be a super awesome wedding.
